MADC was established in 1983 as a non-profit corporation to serve the capital needs of small businesses in Middle Tennessee. MADC partners with lenders to provide low interest, long-term business loans.

The primary mission of MADC is to increase private investment and economic growth which, in turn, creates new jobs in the community. MADC has generated:

• $76 Million in Small Business Loans
• $190 Million in Private Lending
• 5,600+ in Small Business Jobs

For several years, Mid-Cumberland Area Development Corporation has been the leading lender of the 504 program in the State of Tennessee.
